- Q: What is SignTrak?
- A: SignTrak is web-based software used by beverage distributors to order, track and manage their entire POS process from the point of order, to sign shop production, to business analysis and cash management. Subcribers access SignTrak through a secure Windows browser that allows or retricts access based on user credentials. The SignTrak order entry function eliminates written mistakes (good-bye bar napkins) and reworks, provides on demand access to all pending and completed orders by brand, type, rep, customer or any other criteria. POS order data sheets are used to schedule manpower and equipment in the sign shop and stay in control of the entire POS process from order to delivery. SignTrak data information is used by sales and management for report writing or data integration with back office systems, including budget allotment tracking and reconciliation, and cash management.
- Q: What reports does it generate?
- A: SignTrak is a highly customizable solution that captures and holds a powerful array of data and provides actionable information for a wealth of reports and analyses about POS cost, placement, production time, and effectiveness. This allows rapid response to situations and opportunities that would otherwise not exist. Data can be imported into back office systems to forecast the outcome of POS investment by territory, account, season or a myriad of other factors that rely on decision support information to impact sales and profitability. Finance and administration use SignTrak to run reports on POS costs and budget allocations.
- Q: How long does it take to implement?
- A: Since there is no hardware, software or network equipment to purchase, implementation is usually about two days depending on the amount of customization and user group size. Once your unique secure web address is assigned, SignTrak is preloaded with POS sign type data files that contain virtually all sign attributes, configurations and types. If you have custom signs, these sign types are entered into the database. Next, authorized users, administrators and customers are added. Lastly, training is conducted for sales, sign shop and support staff.
- Q: Is SignTrak compatible with AB Mobility?
- A: SignTrak can be used by any distributor, regardless of brand. For A-B distributors, SignTrak offers a more complete POS order and management system and can be used on the same Windows mobile devices used for beer ordering, leveraging your investment in AB Mobility hardware.

- Q: What does SignTrak cost?
- A: SignTrak is a subscription-based application with pricing based the number of Users allowed to access the web-based application. To learn more about pricing or for a custom price quote, please contact your SignTrak sales executive. There is a one time set-up fee that includes URL set-up, data integration, training and limited customization. Set up for SignTrak or PermaTrak is 2 days; set up for both products together is 3 days. During set up, or at any time, customization services are available on request. We work with you to minimize your start up time by pre-loading SignTrak with your templates and sign attributes during the initial data integration process; on-going template changes and other attributes are updated by your administrator on an as-needed basis. New features and product feature upgrades are included for the term of the subscription for a very low annual $600 maintenance fee and are instantly available the next time you sign in to the application.
- Q: How is SignTrak installed?
- A: Because there is no equipment to buy or software to install on your office system, SignTrak is ‘installed’ when we upload your secure password-protected SignTrak website. This occurs after customer, sales, and POS cost data from your back office system is integrated into your SignTrack web application, usually in just a few hours. In most cases, sales reps and other users sign-on and use SignTrak successfully within hours of implementation!
- Q: Must I provide access to my back office system?
- A: We respect that some customers prefer to manually populate and maintain the SignTrak Customer Data file themselves using MS Excel. For this reason, SignTrak includes a Customer Master maintenance function to enable you to integrate your own data.
- Q: What is the SignTrak ROI?
- A: SignTrak streamlines and automates the POS process from end-to-end, eliminating reworks and making sign shops more productive. Based on recurring costs associated with every POS rework (about $50), eliminating these costs more than pays for the monthly usage fee for SignTrak. Sales reps stay on the route longer, see more customers and sell more beer. The sign shop reduces material and labor costs. Finance has access to POS costs and expenditures from an array of detail reports by brand, customer, region and more. This alone saves thousands of financial and administrative costs. - Q: How secure is SignTrak?
- A: SignTrak is both secure and private. It not only requires user identification and password authentication, it executes using the same Internet security protocols used for Web based credit card transactions. You allow or restrict access to information based on user credentials. Further, you receive a unique website address that is not shared with anyone. SignTrak can be configured to run in-house on your Intranet or online over the Internet.
- Q: Who maintains the template thumbnails and data files?
- A: After the initial remote or on-site implementation and data integration performed by SignTrak, your Administrator maintains the data files and updates the template thumbnails received from corporate marketing. SignTrak is soft-coded; that is, it can be easily maintained without special IT skills or know-how. Most SignTrak customers spend 1-2 hours per month updating SignTrak.
- Q: How secure is my Customer Data information?
- A: All programs and data reside on dedicated, high-speed, state-of-the-art, RAID-5 protected IBM servers with secure user and password authentication, session and data transfers using secure socket layer (SSL) protocol.

- A: Because SignTrak is a web-based application, there is no software or network equipment to purchase or configure, making it an ideal solution for the small to medium-sized company. However, for the large distributor requiring high levels of customization or total integration with back office or route management systems, our highly specialized consultants and developers are available on a project basis to address any requirement for expertise or to provide additional resources.

- A: The choice is yours. SignTrak works equally well for single or multiple distribution center where your total customer base is consolidated.
